If you prefer plant-based products and can't or won't consume soy, Mayonette is for you. Mayonette is unique in that, unlike other plant-based mayonnaise alternatives, it does not have a soy base. The main ingredient is red lentils. The product is also cholesterol, lactose and gluten free.
Those who use conventional mayonnaise may find Mayonette unusual. If you are familiar with Kalma soyonnaise, you will find that Mayonette is somewhat similar to it.
Uses: Same as regular mayonnaise. It is suitable for salads or spreads, serves as a base for various sauces and dips, goes well with roasted vegetables, meatballs or sandwiches.
