We roasted and boiled for a long time and the thick Teriyaki sauce as a base for udon noodles, for example, is ready. It has a smoky, slightly nutty flavour thanks to the roasted sesame seeds and is perfectly balanced with salty, sweet, peppery and fruity flavours.

Teriyaki sauce is one of the foundations of Japanese cuisine. Once you've tasted it, you won't want to cook without it. It makes an excellent combo with rice and noodles, and is also great for marinating tofu, meat and fish.

This Teriyaki sauce was created in collaboration with chef and restaurateur Stepan Návrat. He is now celebrating his success with Asian cuisine in his restaurant PRU58 in Prague's Holešovice.

One jar will make 4 servings of more substantial noodles or 6 servings of less substantial ones, e.g. suitable for children.

Ingredients: Teryiaki broth (soy sauce (drinking water, soybeans, wheat - gluten removed during fermentation, salt), cane sugar, Mirin rice wine (glutinous rice, water, rice, lemon extract), water, garlic, ginger, shitake mushroom, seaweed, cinnamon, star anise). May contain traces of nuts, peanuts, sesame seeds, celery and mustard.
