Properties and benefits: the flour is made by finely grinding unroasted walnuts. Walnuts are a rich source of beneficial health fats, protein and fibre. In terms of vitamin content, walnuts are a good source of vitamins B1, B2, B3 (niacin) and B6. Among minerals, the content of copper, zinc, manganese, phosphorus, iron, magnesium and calcium is significant.
Use: Nut and seed flours are an excellent substitute for ordinary flours and gluten-free baking mixes. Because it is 100% ground nut, the flours can be added to flavor porridges, muesli, smoothies or used to top homemade healthy ice cream.
