Mixture for spelt-walnut burger

Each packet can be used to make four large or 8 - 10 small patties. Can also be used as a filling for peppers, courgettes or tomatoes. The burgers will be extra crispy if you coat them in sesame seeds or breadcrumbs. With egg they are extra fluffy and with onion, cheese or garlic they become a real gourmet treat.

Makes about 6 - 12 pieces:

Mix the contents of the bag with 200 ml of boiling water and leave to swell for 15 minutes.

Shape the burgers with wet hands. Heat enough oil in a non-stick frying pan and fry until golden on both sides.
