Nutsman Pecans

Pecans are the fruit of the pecan tree. It is a massive tree native to the central part of southern North America. It is found mainly in the Mississippi River valley, around rivers in Oklahoma and Texas, but also in northern Mexico. The pecan tree is a deciduous, deciduous and moderately fast-growing tree that can grow up to 50 metres tall.

Uses:

Pecans can be eaten raw, but they also make an excellent addition to sweet dishes. They are also added to pralines. The shelled nuts can be stored for months in the freezer.

Contains around 10% protein and more than 60% healthy fats. They are a source of omega 3 and 6 unsaturated fatty acids, fiber, betaine, choline, carbohydrates, magnesium, iron, potassium, calcium, phosphorus and zinc.
